Ian Tyley grew up on the Central Coast NSW, Australia. His experience encompasses a wide range of narrative, commercial and documentary.

His aspiration is to create authentic, emotionally charged content that is entrenched in his belief that imagery speaks to the soul of the audience.  Focused on intimate storytelling the authenticity of his visual language offers uniquely honest perspectives that guides the viewer on an emotionally charged journey.

In 2021, he completed a Masters in Cinematography at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
